Today is a new day

First of all: Happy September,
Secondly: I Started classes yesterday.
I am only taking 2 classes this semester. I have had some "issues" that I need to deal with and I really don't want my school to suffer.

I am really excited about my classes, I have Linear algebra and African American History.
The linear class I have a couple of buds in there and I know the stuff. Math has always fascinated me, I love how it looks all chaotic at times and then BAM out comes this nice little answer.

The African American history class looks to be fascinating. It is something that we should all know about, especially those of us who will be going into teaching.
The instructors has all ready got the class questioning what they see, read, and hear in today's news. This is very important - not enough people think for themselves and let themselves be blindly led. I guess all that I am saying people is think about what it is that you are watching/listening too/or reading. Who wrote it, who would gain/lose from this information and what is the other side of the story.

I hope that everyone has a safe and happy Labor Day.
Plus remember what it represents while you are with your family.

word to your geekiness for giving me the cool little shout out. unless you're sleeping around with some other KB....just told a story last night about how we realized when we were one of 'those' geeks who had to make it to the comic shop as soon as the new issues were out....ahhh, the good old days.
