Happy St Pats

Top o' the mornin' to ya. As you all know, it is St. Patricks day today. The sad news is that I am not down at the Gaelic league, making fun of all the Irish. (the Irish are just jealous of us Scots, for we have actually conquered the bloody English). When we lived in Ferndale, Annie and I would come down with a case of Irish Flu, call in sick to work, and head down to Corktown for a day of Corn Beef, cabbage, and Guinness. Ahh, the good old days when I had a job and money. Annie did make some corn beef today though, I can not wait until lunch time...

Found some keen stuff on this internets thingy this week.

  • Forgotten Detroit - great pictures of some of the deserted buildings in this decaying city. I have been in quite a few of them.
  • Creep by Radiohead. This was one of the most angst filled songs of all time. This link is to an extremely cool flash animation of the song.
  • 'We didn't start the fire' has an updated video. A Cal Tech student set the song to the pictures that are sung about in the song.
