Happy New Years!

Hi there.

My wife is sick. She is really, really sick. She had a fever of 102.5 this morning (isn't that a radio station around here?). She is sleeping on the couch right now, so I am on the 'puter typing this up and checking on the U of M game every 60 seconds on ESPN.com. It looks as if they are down right now. Not good.

My mother is also sick, so sick that she is in the hospital. She was coughing up blood. She claims that she is feeling better now than she has all week, but I am still quite worried about her and dad. So I took over some home-made been soup to my dad (plus some left over shrimps from last night). He was very happy about the shrimp and the soup.

Mom should be home tomorrow.
Annie is drinking lots of liquids and smoothies, and getting lots of sleep.

Wish me well. I am not sick nor do I plan on becoming so.
