Big hat, cute mouse Posted by Hello

Happy Halloween yous guys!!!

Hey all you goblins and ghosts! I hope that you had a spooktackular night and that you got all the sugar that your soon to be insulin shocked bodies can handle. We had a good night. I wasn't sure if we were going to have any trick-or-treaters, no lights on in the neighborhood and no kids out and a bout. (This was at 5 o'clock mind you). Well, long story ==> short, we had many cute little kids, gave out most of our candy (I sent Annie out to the IGA for more candies) and we had a fun old time.
However, it wasn't like Ferndale. There we had neighbors, who would be out on their porches (some even dressed up in costume), we handed out candy and talked among ourselves. It was a great show of community. Here, no adults were to be seen (unless they were walking their kids), and we didn’t see very many homemade costumes on the little ones.

Z stopped over before the 'treating started, she was a little mouse, a little pink mouse. Wow was she cute.

Bub was a dork in a big hat.

Tomorrow is the 1st of November, All Saints Day, y dia de los muertos. So you all have a good one. y'hear!

Our anniversary cake with our wedding ornament.
 Posted by Hello

28 Octobre

Yesterday was our third wedding anniversary and it was great day. I had class all day and A had a conference in Brighton so we weren’t sure what we were going to do or if we were going to be able to do anything together. Luckily, we were able to spend the evening with each other, my friend Toni from DE, handed in my equations and I was able to head home early.
Luckily for me, It was A's turn to make dinner (We always make our anniversary dinner with a theme from our honeymoon – in the past we have had gumbo, and stuffed Cajun pork chops) so she made a Cajun pasta. Surprisingly, we have found a place in Bay City that sells spicy sausages, Larry's on Kosciusko, yum! So the dinner was great, and Annie also made a wonderful cake. She usually buys a replication of our wedding cake, but because that bakery is in Royal Oak (I think), it wasn't feasible to get it this year. So, she winged it and made her own copy of it. It was really good! It was the first evening that we got to spend time together in quite a while. Happiness is a loving wife and a fuzzy Scotty dog.

Another lame post from a loser like me

Hey there, not much going on here. I just finished up midterms, I think that I did pretty well; I am getting at least a 'C' in everything... (hehehe)
Tomorrow is A’s 3rd wedding anniversary (oh yeah, and mine). I sometimes find it hard to believe that she was willing to pledge her love and life to such a loser like me. But you know what, we fit together quite well (and I have a sneaking suspicion that she is much more sane than I.)

This past weekend I got some good family time in. Saturday morning we (Bub, Dad, and I) landscaped my parent’s front yard. It was fun, it was hard, but it was satisfying. I think that it will look really good next summer. I will see if I can get a picture posted before then.

That evening, it was the Bay County sports Hall of Fame banquette. We were there to honor an old family friend, Larry Piotrowski. He and my dad have been friends for a long, long time. It was good seeing there whole clan.
Another couple of friends were there, Kyle Bean’s father was also elected to the hall of fame. Clinton Bean was/is a great softball player (and a good person).
In addition, Katie Bloomenstien was also inducted to the Hall of Fame for her incredible volleyball career.
I think that this is something that is so hip (thank you Word thesaurus). It isn’t everywhere where something like this can be done, and the things that these people have done is not just exclusive to their families, but something that they contributed to their community.

Ah hell, I’m tired and going to bed.

Peace out

hey there

hi there kiddies, do you know what time it is???

Nah, neither do I, nor do I care. Just wanted to see what your responses were.
I am back home in Detroit!!! But only for the weekend.
Big day tomorrow, my sister-in-law is getting married tomorrow to an awesome guy. I am very excited.
Annie is over at her sisters house, while I am at our friends house - Shout out to A2 and D (and their daughter and their dog, and 2 cats). Sleeping in the basement hoping the cats don't make me their midnight bitch.
I got to go to sleep, the 2 allergy pills are messing with my autoimmune system. (did I get that right?)
Ah hell, go to bed. I'll tell you all about it tomorrow or Sunday.

Peace out.

My Mom's birthday

Today is my mother's birthday. For her birthday, we took her to CMU's homecoming football game yesterday. It was a wonderful day, we went, my brother's family, the Decuffs, and of course my father. We all had a great time. At halftime everyone but my dad and I headed to the cars. We didn't know that they weren't coming back for us. We finally figured it out around the middle of the 4th quarter. We then went to the Bookstore and my mom bought Z a cheerleader outfit. (and some other stuff for the rest of those CMU alumni, and student). I have no pictures of this because I forgot our camera.
A lot of studying done today in our house. I have 2 tests and a quiz next week. Anne just is a good student.
We got our pumpkins on Friday. Only 21 days until Halloween.

Peace

Is it the weekend yet?

Listening to: 'Down for Whatever' - Ice Cube

I really don't have much for you blog junkies. I have done nothing exciting all week. Just school stuff that I know that you guys would want to know about.

This weekend we are all going to Mt Pleasent for my mother's birthday. It is also CMU's homecoming. My whole family, Mom, Dad, brother, sister-in-law, Grandmother, and wife have either graduated or are curently attending this school. I think that I may just wear my WMU sweatshirt to remind them what is up...

I may do something exciting one of these days. Stay tuned. Post a reply. Hell, make something up, I don't care. It's all good.

Peace

Did you watch the Debate last night???? I watched some. What a good American I am.
Reminder: There is less then a month for you to decide just who you want to vote for.

just another manic Saturday

Hey everybody!!!!
Got some studying done, I am really liking my classes. I feel as if I am actually learning stuff this semester. I got my first round of tests done, I was a little disapointed in myself with some of the grades that I earned. I now know how my professors are going to test and what I need to concentrate on in the studying.

I went to the BCC football game last night. Saw a lot of people, but there weren't as many people there as I thought there would be. (It was homecoming) I think that there were only a couple thousand people.

Tonight the girls are in the kitchen making salsa and pesto. There is a frost warning in affect for tonight and they wanted to havest all of the veggies, herbs and other stuff. SO our kitchen is a hotbed of cooking! I think that Grandma will be coming over to show the girls how to really make Oh Henry Bars.
Good article on political polls here. Really informative, without the big words or math.

Fall is here, the leaves are falling, the pumpkins are coming out and the flannel shirts are coming out of the closets.
Peace out.
